Classification & Grade
Titanium plate is divided into cold rolled plate and hot rolled plate according to processing methods
Titanium plate is divided according to shape: titanium plate, titanium coil and titanium foil
Titanium and titanium alloy plates are divided into thick plates (≥25.4mm), middle plates (4.76-25.4), and thin plates (<4.76mm) according to their thicknesses.
Titanium coils are mainly used for the manufacture of plate heat exchangers and titanium welded pipes, used in seawater desalination, power stations and other fields

C.P titanium grade :GR1, GR2, GR3, GR4 ASTMB265
Popular titanium alloy grades Gr5 (6AL4V), Gr6 (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn), Gr7, GR12, Gr23
The surface is usually pickled and sandblasted. Some smaller sizes provide polished surfaces
Straightness is generally non-aerospace requirements is flatness ≤2-3mm/m
If it is used to make components
It will have better requirements for the surface and straightness of titanium plate and strict dimension demand

1) Chemicals (heat exchangers, condensers and pressure vessel equipment), petroleum and pharmaceuticals, etc. ASTMB265
GR1, GR2, Gr4, Gr5 and Gr7 for some chemical equipments and fittings, GR12 mainly uses titanium corrosion resistance
The products are mostly 6 and 10 thick boards. Titanium steel composite panels will also be used in chemical equipment, mainly heat exchanger tube sheets
